Car Navigation System

This project has been implemented on a Nissan Pathfinder, it will soon be compatible with all other cars. The system will consist of a small form factor computer with capabilities of a normal computer. The housing of the computer is a special case custom built by myself which can withstand vibrations caused by normal day to day driving, with the help of viscous liquid dampers. The system will use a highly accurate gps system with my new system of dead reckoning to even locate car when gps data is temporarily unavailable. The car will be also equipped with an active gps reciever to locate the car during theft and also bring the robbery into a safe stop by various methods of engine halt, door lock, etc. The car can also be located using a web browser from anywhere including WAP browsers (cell phones).
